I think this will be fun. It will be easier to do a comparison review than 
just a plain content review. The rules are:
Read a minimum of 6 books that have been made into movies and then watch the movie. Write a review of the movie and be honest about whether or not you think the film-maker was successful in translating the book to film. You must both read the book and watch the movie within 2009.
Right now I'm going to read/watch the following:
1. The Time Travelers Wife, Audrey Niffeneggar
2. The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, CS Lewis
3. Prince Caspian, CS Lewis
4. Twilight, Stephenie Meyer
5. Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen
6. Nights in Rodanthe, Nicholas Sparks

Try The Little Princess (Shirley Temple version of the movie, for me), Forrest Gump (the book isn't at ALL like the movie), and The Princess Bride (again, not exactly like the movie).
